Political Sciences Library

Library opening hours: from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm. Advanced library services till 5 p.m, with librarians; Basic library services till 7.30 p.m. without librarians (reading rooms, self-checkout, drop box, photocopies).
During the summer the Political Science Library will observe the following opening hours:
1-2 August: 9.00 am-4.00 pm
5-23 August: CLOSURE
26-30 August: 9.00 am-4.00 pm
The library will reopen with regular hours on Monday 2 September 2024

During the summer period the following services will undergo changes:
Interlibrary loan: suspended from 5 to 23 August;
Bibliographic research: suspended from 5 to 23 August;
The loan and consultation of the following volumes will also be suspended:
locations DP.ST. (formerly Department of History and Society) and locations D. (Department of International Studies) from 5 to 23 August;
DP.E. collocations and M. (Department of Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods) from July 22 to August 30;
DP.G. collocations (former Legal-Political Department) from 5 to 23 August;
SO collocations. at the Department of Social and Political Sciences, from 5 to 18 August.

Study in reading rooms. To read your own materials, you have to reserve a seat through our web portal or mobile app "lezioniUnimi".

Photocopying and printing. Self-service copy, print and scan machines on floors +1 and -1. Print from USB key. Copying/printing cards are available at dispenser.

Book loan and return. To borrow a book, apply online from the University discovery tool Minerva and follow the collection instructions in the confirmation pop-up. To check the expiration of your loans, access your Personal Area in the Discovery tool. Seat reservation is not required to borrow or return a book. Interlibrary loans i.e. ordering books not held in our University libraries from other libraries in Italy and abroad. After locating the required material and identifying the library to send the request to, users must fill in an online request form

The Political Sciences Library “Enrica Collotti Pischel” has materials available in the following subjects: law, economics, philosophy, geography, foreign languages, mathematics and statistics, political science, sociology and history.
