University libraries are safely open

As the new academic year begins, our libraries make their services available in compliance with Covid-19 safety measures. To access a library, you must wear a face mask covering your nose and mouth, abide by distancing measures and sanitize your hands with the disinfectant solutions made available at the entrance.

Study in reading rooms. Not allowed.

Consultation in reading rooms. To read library materials, you have to reserve a seat through our web portalLink verso un sito esterno or mobile appLink verso un sito esterno "lezioniUnimi". The seating arrangement ensures at least one-meter distance between users.

Book loan and return. To borrow a book, apply online from the University CatalogueLink verso un sito esterno and follow the collection instructions in the confirmation pop-up. To return a book, place it in the containers that you will find at the library. The book will be recorded as returned after 48 hours' isolation. If you are unable to come to the library, you can send the book by post or courier at your own expense to the address of the owning library. To check the expiration of your loans, access your Personal Area in the CatalogueLink verso un sito esterno. Seat reservation is not required to borrow or return a book.

Reading rooms

The Political Sciences Library “Enrica Collotti Pischel” has materials available in the following subjects: law, economics, philosophy, geography, foreign languages, mathematics and statistics, political science, sociology and history.

Number of seats:  43 included in the Political Science Library since the Centre is located on the third floor of the library. 

The CDE maintains and allows access to most of the official documentation of the European Union in order to promote knowledge, discussion and research on European integration and EU policies.
Services: on-site consultation, home loan, intra-system loans , bibliographic information, interlibrary loans, access to European databases, user training, organization of events regarding the EU.
