The Digital Library has joined MDPI's  Institutional Open Access Program (IOAP). The programme allows University authors to publish their papers in MDPI's Gold Open Access journals with a 10% discount on APCs. Please always use your institutional email account for submissions, in order to be recognized as a University author.

The discount also extends to the publication of OA academic books.

The invoicing of articles covered by the University APC fund is managed centrally through the email account  APC.bibliotecadigitale@unimi.it
