University libraries are safely open

As the new academic year begins, our libraries make their services available in compliance with Covid-19 safety measures. To access a library, you must wear a face mask covering your nose and mouth, abide by distancing measures and sanitize your hands with the disinfectant solutions made available at the entrance.

Study and consultation in reading rooms. To study at a library, you have to reserve a seat through our web portal or mobile app "lezioniUnimi". The seating arrangement ensures at least one-meter distance between users. Group study is not allowed, tables and chairs cannot be moved.

Book loan and return. To borrow a book, apply online from the University Catalogue and follow the collection instructions in the confirmation pop-up. To return a book, place it in the containers that you will find at the library. The book will be recorded as returned after 48 hours' isolation. If you are unable to come to the library, you can send the book by post or courier at your own expense to the address of the owning library. To check the expiration of your loans, access your Personal Area in the Catalogue. Seat reservation is not required to borrow or return a book.

Remote services are always available. Check the #bibliounimidacasa page for updated information.
